BackInterviewStatement

Hello Faizal!

Congratulations! You have qualified for the Trading World Cup finals in Barcelona in December 2017! We're looking forward to seeing you there! The other participants, the numerous spectators around the world, and we, of course, would like to know how you qualified. We'd like to learn more about you and your trading style, and are pleased that you're willing to do this interview with us!

How long have you been trading?

I started trading in 2010.

How did you get into trading?

I lost my job and was wondering what else I could do when someone told me about trading. I learnt a lot from babypips.com.

How did you teach yourself to trade?

I get most of what I know from babypips.com and YouTube videos.

The dream of many traders: Can you live from trading?

Yes I can. I get my weekly and monthly income from trading.

How did you find out about the inve us Trading Awards?

Through Facebook ads.

What did you spontaneously like and what triggered you to take part?

Actually, I found it interesting because the prize money was so big and I really wanted to try it.

How was your strategy to qualify structured?

The strategy that I use is actually simple: All I need to do is be patient and wait for the opportunity to have a high probability to close a position with a profit.

Do you use this strategy when you trade and/or do you use real money?

Yes, of course.

Tell us a bit about the strategy that you'll be using in two weeks time in the Trading World Cup finals in Barcelona. Do you have a plan yet?

Yes. I will use the same strategy that got me to the finals, although I do have a plan B considering that December will be a thin market.

Based on your personal experience, what is the most 'important advice' that you would like to give other traders around the world?

My advice to all of the traders: Don’t jump into the market if you don't have a good reason! Be patient, don’t listen to others, trust your own analysis. Most of the time, the most important thing is following the news!

Last question: What are your free time activities to recover, when you are not trading?

I am managing my business!

Thank you for taking the time to talk with us, Faizal. And the best of luck in the finals!
